    • The prototype of this vest is taken from the 1930s Hunting Vest. It is made of heavyweight 13oz canvas. It has a hidden mezzanine which actually is a half-arc pocket called “Game Pocket” for storing prey. It also can be used as a storage bag for daily wear which is easy to pick items, and not easy to be lost. There are two pockets on the back for easy access to items. A strap is installed above the chest to fix the fishing rod and hook. Vests and coats designed with this kind of pockets started to appear in the 1930s. In addition to being used by hunters and fishers, it was once a classic middle-class outdoor costume. This khaki vest is an upgrade version, this version adopts 13 oz canvas instead of 16.5 oz canvas. Because the texture of 16.5 oz canvas is too hard, it is difficult to straighten the stitches when sewing. So the vest is easy to wrinkle, and the crease is obvious after washing. In addition, this version uses a fabric woven by plied yarn with a finer yarn count. The texture is softer, and the stitches look smoother.
